Audio Features Sokolsky on the Arts and Entertainment
A weekly program focusing on the arts and entertainment
Episode
The movie was called "Power of Love." It came out in 1922 and soon disappeared.
But Arts and Entertainment Editor Bob Sokolsky says it left an intriguing trail because it is believed to be the first to employ the 3-D process. Its possibilities remained dormant for a long time but we are now hearing about them on a near daily basis. Sokolsky cites several examples of what they have led to -- not all of them successful -- as well as what they might lead to. Possibilities, he says, range from production techniques to new forms of distribution. Episode Date: March 26, 2010
