Rewards offered in downtown Riverside murders
RIVERSIDE – (INT) – The City Council is offering two rewards, good for 60-days, in hopes of solving a pair of unrelated homicides.

Police are hopeful someone will step forward with information about the August 2020 slaying of Keith Allen. Allen, of Hemet, had just completed his shift as a factory warehouse worker when he was robbed and gunned down near 4th and Commerce streets. Allen was walking toward a bus stop.

Another reward is being offered to anyone who can provide information that would solve a man’s gunshot slaying outside the Marriott Hotel in downtown Riverside last year.

Police believe there are witnesses who made several 9-1-1 calls about the late night shooting of Grant Leggett, Sr. He was walking to his car when he was hit with several gunshots.

Leggett, 57, from Jurupa Valley was an elder member of the Life Church of God in Christ, a very family-oriented man, and known as the local handyman within his neighborhood and church community.

The rewards total $60,000.
