COVID-19 by the numbers
SACRAMENTO – (INT) - California has 3,582,463 confirmed COVID-19 cases to date.
There were 2,112 newly recorded confirmed cases as of the most recent daily report.
The 7-day positivity rate is 1.6%.
There have been 55,277,310 tests conducted in California. This represents an increase of 190,179 during the prior 24-hour reporting period.
There have been 58,534 COVID-19 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
As of April 5th, providers have reported administering a total of 19,894,885 vaccine doses statewide. The CDC reports that 24,530,300 doses have been delivered to entities within the state. Health Care Workers
As of April 4th, local health departments have reported 103,414 confirmed positive cases in health care workers and 444 deaths statewide.
