COVID-19 by the numbers SACRAMENTO – (INT) - California has 3,582,463 confirmed COVID-19 cases to date.
There were 2,112 newly recorded confirmed cases as of the most recent daily report. The 7-day positivity rate is 1.6%. There have been 55,277,310 tests conducted in California. This represents an increase of 190,179 during the prior 24-hour reporting period. There have been 58,534 COVID-19 deaths since the start of the pandemic. As of April 5th, providers have reported administering a total of 19,894,885 vaccine doses statewide. The CDC reports that 24,530,300 doses have been delivered to entities within the state.
