SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – Governor Newsom brought his vaccination campaign to the Inland Empire Friday with a visit to the Sixteenth Street Seventh-day Adventist Church in San Bernardino.

Several hundred people were scheduled to get their vaccine shots at the pop-up clinic arranged by a coalition of churches focused on African-Americans.

Earlier Friday, he stopped in San Diego County.

Newsom received his one-shot Johnson and Johnson vaccine on Thursday urging Californians aged 50+ to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Beginning April 15th, individuals 16+ will be eligible to receive a vaccine.
