A motorist chased by sheriff’s deputies through Apple Valley Thursday for a traffic violation was killed in a collision with another vehicle. The coroner identified the victim as Thomas Michael Lira, 27, of Victorville. Lira died about an hour after deputies tried to stop his Honda Accord on Iroquois Road. (INT)
