Marijuana cultivations found at homes in five Riverside County cities
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – The long arm of the law is reaching further into local communities to put large marijuana cultivations out of business.

Riverside County’s Cannabis Regulation Task Force struck at 23 homes and one commercial building Wednesday in San Jacinto, Hemet, Perris, Moreno Valley and Murrieta.

Eighteen of the residences had been converted into illegal marijuana cultivation operations.

Thirty-six people were arrested.

The following amounts of marijuana, weapons and currency were seized:

15,000 marijuana plants
340 lbs. of processed marijuana
9.7 lbs. of honey oil
7 firearms (5 handguns and 2 shotguns)
Firearm parts and equipment to assemble 50 rifles
$75,000 in cash
