Job, population predictions put San Bernardino County at the forefront INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) - The planners and researchers at the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) project significant population and job growth for San Bernardino County.
SCAG predicts the County will add 565,000 people and 230,000 jobs by 2045 – increases of 25% and 27%, respectively, over 2020 levels. By comparison, the rest of the six-county region will see average population and employment growth of 14% during that period. Government leaders predict the Inland Empire has emerged as one of the most sought-after economic and employment centers in California. Story Date: June 22, 2021
