Victorville police chase and arrest raises sheriff's concern
VICTORVILLE – (INT) - An internal investigation into the actions of a San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputy is underway following the arrest of a motorcyclist at the climax to a chase in Victorville Wednesday.

The use-of-force arrest of Willie Jones, 32, was captured by a surveillance camera near at a car dealership where he’d been hiding.

A surveillance video obtained by Hollywood-based TMZ shows one deputy twice kicking the suspect in the head as he was lying face-down in the parking of a Toyota dealership.

Sheriff John McMahon said Friday because the incident ‘raised concerns’ he placed the deputy on administrative leave and said that results of the investigation will be presented to the district attorney for possible charges.

Jones was given medical attention and jailed on suspicion of evading arrest.
