Six people perished in a series of unrelated vehicle accidents across the inland Empire during the weekend. In Palm Desert, a teenage boy and an Indio man lost their lives when two vehicles collided early Sunday on Highway 111. Other victims included a motorcyclist killed on Freeway 60 in Chino and another in Highland. Still under investigation are deadly crashes in Hesperia and Desert Hot Springs. (INT)
