INLAND EMPIRE – The coroner has reported a series of unrelated vehicle accidents across San Bernardino County that left five people dead.

In Ontario, a motorist, Shi X. Yu, 40, of Monterey Park died on East Guasti Road. Another driver, Andy Steven Mora, 24, of Ontario was killed on Mission Road.

In San Bernardino, Miguel Angel Raya, 28, was fatally injured at an intersection on Foothill Boulevard.

Elsewhere, Francisco Pineda, 43, of Los Angeles died Monday in a crash at El Mirage. And near Hesperia, the coroner is trying to reach the next of kin of a passenger who died at the scene of a mishap on Route 173 at Arrowhead Lake Road Wednesday.
