Coronavirus infections skyrocket following holidays
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Local health officials report a staggering number of new coronavirus infections most likely attributed to holiday get-togethers.

In San Bernardino County, more than 16,000 new cases are being reported each day. In Riverside County, the positivity rate is 14.5 percent.

When the two counties are combined, there have been 807-thousand cases since the pandemic struck in March 2020.

In the City of Riverside, the virus has struck at least 62,000 individuals. Eight-hundred-seventy-three have died.
