Passings: Musician Meat Loaf & comic Louie Anderson Grammy winner Meat Loaf, who was born Marvin Lee Aday, died Thursday night at age 74. His cause of death has not been confirmed. Written and composed by Jim Steinman, Meat Loaf’s 1977 debut album ‘Bat Out of Hell’ remains one of the best-selling albums in US history.
The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that comic Louie Anderson died Friday from complications of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Anderson was mostly known for his stand-up and game show appearances, but was nominated several times and won an Emmy in 2016 for his role as Christine Baskets in the FX series ‘Baskets’.
