‘Navigation campus’ for Coachella Valley homeless being developed
PALM SPRINGS – (INT) – Steps that could help resolve homelessness in the Coachella Valley are getting a boost.

Riverside County Supervisors Tuesday approved an initial allocation of $5.7 million to help acquire and develop a so-called ‘navigation campus’ in Palm Springs.

The campus, formerly known as Roy’s Desert Resource Center, would function under a county and city partnership and would provide housing and comprehensive services.

County Supervisor V. Manuel Perez says total county funding could reach $7 million.
