San Bernardino’s new Public Works director is being welcomed for his “public and private sector experience of getting things done efficiently and cost-effectively." City Manager Robert Field announced Monday the appointment of Daniel Hernandez who has spent the past six years leading public works departments in Huntington Park and in the City of Commerce. Prior to that, Hernandez was the elected city clerk in Montebello. He starts in San Bernardino May 16th. (INT)
