ONTARIO – (INT) – The long-running ‘Swarm 60’ pavement improvement project on the Route 60 freeway that spanned parts of Riverside and San Bernardino counties is complete.

Caltrans said Friday the 18-mile long freeway rehabilitation began 3-years ago and extended from Euclid Avenue in Ontario to the 60/91/215 interchange in Riverside.

Meantime, finishing touches are being put on replacement bridges crossing freeway 60 at Pipeline, Monte Vista and Benson Avenues in the Ontario-Chino area. There are no planned freeway or ramp closures. Those projects will wrap-up later this summer.
