Prosecutors wage war on fentanyl dealers
RIVERSIDE – (INT) – Riverside County prosecutors and local law enforcement are continuing their full court press on those who distribute and sell fentanyl.

Over the past 2-weeks, the county’s Gang Impact Team (GIT) has seized five kilograms of the drug in powder form plus 40-thousand pills containing fentanyl.

The street value of the contraband was estimated at $1.5 million.

Authorities did not say where the three investigations were conducted and declined to identify suspects.

Law enforcement agencies across the United States are finding fentanyl in nearly all illegal drugs. It is highly addictive and deadly.
