Introducing the Whole Person Health Score
MORENO VALLEY – (INT) - A team of Riverside University Health System doctors and scholars have developed an innovative assessment to help providers and patients improve health outcomes.

The team created the 28-question assessment known as the Whole Person Health Score to better understand and improve patients’ quality of life. The tool has helped doctors and patients work together to take a more thorough look at all the factors affecting a patient’s health such as social support systems and financial stress.

The assessment is being used in local medical clinics and a school district.

An article published in the New England Journal of Medicine stated that patients who were given a Whole Person Health Score showed higher levels of engagement and improved satisfaction.
