Candidates in November elections face filing deadline
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Would-be politicians are reminded that the deadline is fast approaching to secure a spot on the November General Election ballot.

In San Bernardino County, there are over 200 local offices up for election, including school district, special district and city offices. The same applies in Riverside County.

The June Primary election determined November match-ups for Congress and State Senate and Assembly.

In the non-partisan city and county elections, there will be run-offs between candidates who failed to get a majority of all votes cast.

Completed candidacy documents must be filed at the Registrar of Voters offices by 5 p.m. on Friday, August 12th. The deadline is extended if an incumbent fails to seek re-election.
