Inland Empire positioned for ‘historic’ employer-job growth ![]() SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) - The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) is predicting a rosy outlook for both employers and job seekers across the Inland Empire.
The emergence of the region as a premier population and economic center is well documented. A new assessment of data from the California Employment Development Department (EDD) projects a net gain of more than 110,000 jobs across the Inland Empire over the next decade in five categories. SCAG says that could create historic opportunities for employers and job seekers. “We’ll have plenty of people to fill these jobs, with San Bernardino and Riverside Counties far outpacing the rest of Southern California in population growth among working-age adult,” according to the SCAG report.
