How does the IE rank on the inflation index?
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Inland Empire residents are feeling the pain of inflation even as gasoline prices decelerate.

WalletHub has examined the twenty-three largest Metro areas and found the Inland Empire’s consumer price index (CPI) soared by 9-point-2 percent the past 12 months and just over 1-percent the past month.

While the IE placed 13th highest among the fastest gainers, several Metro areas in Florida, along the East Coast, Texas and Arizona turned in double-digit increases.

Inflation was highest in Anchorage, Alaska at more than 12 percent.

WalletHub used the latest data available from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
