HIGHLAND –(INT) – Another fentanyl overdose death has become a case of murder.

Charges filed Wednesday led to the arrest of Alfred Urrea, 18, of Bloomington.

A month-long sheriff’s investigation determined that Urrea provided a deadly overdose of fentanyl to Adrian Alloway, 18, of Highland.

An autopsy determined that Alloway died August 23rd of acute fentanyl toxicity at an address in Highland.

The investigation was done by the sheriff’s gang and narcotics Overdose Response Team (ORT) resulting in murder charges filed by the district attorney’s office.
