Gasoline inventories lowest in a decade SOUTHLAND – (INT) – Stubborn refinery issues continue to frustrate Southern California motorists.
Those issues, made worse with continued low inventories, have created the biggest one-week jump in gasoline prices since early June. The Automobile Club calculated the average price for 87 octane gas in Riverside at $5.44 which is 23-cents high than last month. The statewide average is $5.52. The Oil Price Information Service reports that several Southland refineries are undergoing unplanned maintenance while fuel inventories are at their lowest levels in a decade.
