Aftershocks from undersea earthquake felt in Northern Baja
ENSENADA – (INT) – Aftershocks from a strong M6.2 undersea earthquake are rippling along the northern shore of Baja California.

The main shock Tuesday was centered 135 miles southeast of San Diego. An aftershock of M4.5 struck the same ocean floor area Tuesday afternoon. Another M4.2 followed late Wednesday night.

No tsunami warnings were issued.

The initial temblor was felt into the San Diego area but went unnoticed by many.

The US Geological Survey reported shaking from the North County beach communities into Imperial County.
