A 3-year-old girl was killed and another child severely injured in an early Wednesday crash on the 60-215 freeway in Riverside. CHP investigators said a truck “experienced mechanical issues” causing a sedan to hit the truck and overturn near Blaine Street. The Riverside Fire Department said the driver of the sedan survived with moderate injuries. Killed was Zaylee Embery of Riverside. The CHP said alcohol was involved in the crash. There were reports that could not be independently verified that the child’s mother was arrested. (INT)
