Southern Californians thankful for ideal autumn weekend
INLAND EMPIRE - (INT) - As the long, breezy Thanksgiving holiday winds down, Southern Californians could be looking at a double chance of rain next week.

KEY POINTS
• 15-25% chance of showers Monday night into early Tuesday
• Gusty west winds in the mountains, deserts, and coastal waters Monday and Tuesday
• Potential for widespread rain and gusty winds late next week

Fading Santa Ana winds are being replaced this weekend by cooling sea breezes to round out the 4-day holiday. The onshore flow is setting the stage for a low pressure system from the Pacific Northwest. It will spread a very slight chance of showers from the coast, into the valleys and in the mountains by Tuesday.

Temperatures will be slightly below normal much of next week.

Forecasters are watching a more significant storm system reaching Southern California towards the end of next week and into next weekend.
