Riverside’s Festival of Lights marks 30 years
RIVERSIDE – (INT) – A switch-on ceremony at dusk Friday initiated Riverside's main feature for the holidays, the Festival of Lights.

Thousands gathered outside the Mission Inn to open the holiday season with fireworks as millions of festival lights were energized.

For the next several days, visitors will be treated to holiday-themed selfie stations, holiday trees, large ornaments, a sleigh, bows and garland adorning lights and bridges.

The annual event has been nominated by ‘USA Today 10Best’ for Best Public Holiday Lights Display.

Vendors, entertainment and artisans will continue through Dec. 31st. Holiday décor and lighting will remain on through January 6th.
