INLAND EMPIRE - (INT) - The bite of inflation is being felt throughout the nation but even more so in the Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario area.

WalletHub ranked the nation’s largest metropolitan areas and found the IE was fourth-highest with a gain in the Consumer Price Index of 7.5% over the past 12 months. Only Miami-Fort Lauderdale, Tampa-St. Petersburg and Dallas-Ft. Worth were higher.

Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim came in at 22nd and San Diego 15th highest in inflation.
