Third Riverside County aviation accident in a week
FRENCH VALLEY – (INT) – Two people survived the crash of their single-engine plane Friday not far from the French Valley Airport.

CalFire found the Cessna upside down in a gully off of Sky Canyon Drive.

The pilot and a passenger suffered minor injuries but managed to climb out of the badly damaged aircraft.

It was the third aircraft mishap in Riverside County since January 22nd.

Near Aguanga, an ultralight went down killing the pilot. Near Perris, the pilot of a single-engine plane survived an emergency hard landing in a field off Highway 74 at Good Hope.

The National Transportation Safety Board will investigate all three incidents.
