Nurses alert public to “ongoing workplace violence”
SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – Registered nurses at Dignity Health Community Hospital of San Bernardino will join a National Day of Action Thursday to raise concern about low staffing levels.

The RN’s say the staffing conditions have led to “ongoing workplace violence.”

In a statement, the California Nurses Association and National Nurses United said that “Instead of scheming to evade and undermine the state’s nearly 20-year safe staffing law, the hospital industry immediately provide appropriate numbers of nurses so that RNs can protect their patients, their profession, and their community.”

Informational picketing will be Thursday at the Community Hospital of San Bernardino, 1805 Medical Center Drive.
