Federal storm repair money flowing into California Thirty million dollars in emergency funding is coming from the Federal Highway Administration is the wake of January’s storms.
The funding will help repair and reconstruct highways, roads, and bridges following the series of storms that resulted in widespread flooding, washed-out roads, mudslides, landslides, and sinkholes across California. “The recent storms hammered California’s infrastructure, causing hundreds of millions of dollars worth of damage to our roads and highways,” said Senator Diane Feinstein on Tuesday January 24th.
