SOUTHLAND – (INT) – There are signs that upward trends in gasoline prices may be leveling off or declining.

Reports from the Energy Information Administration and California Energy Commission indicate that both gasoline supplies and refinery utilization rates have improved which is driving costs down, according to the Automobile Club.

In Riverside, the average price of regular-grade gas is $4.88 a gallon. That is 35-cents higher than last month, but 67 cents lower than a year ago.
