Is moving in your future?
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Housing affordability could become a negative growth factor for the Inland Empire. It’s a knotty topic of debate among state lawmakers.

The Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC) found that that a sizable share of Californians are at least somewhat concerned about having enough money to pay for housing and are seriously considering a move out of the part of the state they currently live in. Forty percent of those surveyed in the Inland Empire are considering pulling up stakes, the highest percentage in the state.

The PPIC noted that that those seriously considering a move is about twice as large as it was in 2004.

Across regions, residents in the San Francisco Bay Area, 23-percent, are the least likely to consider an interstate move.
