Forecasters offer a smorgasbord of changing weather
INLAND EMPIRE - (INT) - A spate of May Gray will give way to a taste of summer for the next several days in Southern California.

KEY POINTS:
-Above average temperatures will feel hot Friday into next week.
-Chances of thunderstorms for inland areas early next week.

Weather patterns will be in a state of flux during the coming days. High pressure is strengthening along the West Coast and will max out this weekend. Temperatures will soar into the 90s across the Inland Empire Metro area and triple digits for the lower deserts.

Forecasters backed by computer models are monitoring the chances of thunderstorms in the valleys, mountains and deserts next week. NOAA is predicting a 50%-80% chance of above normal precipitation across a wide swath of Southern California.
