Communities prep for summer of triple-digit heat
PALM DESERT – (INT) – Riverside County’s cooling centers are being readied for reopening.

Each will provide cooling relief for not only unhoused residents but anyone who wants to cool off and be safe while reducing their home utility costs and conserve energy.

The Community Action Partnership of Riverside County says the centers will offer daytime and overnight cooling.

Twenty will be operational from the west end of the county to Idyllwild, the mid-and eastern Coachella Valley and the Blythe community.

A directory of cooling centers is at https://capriverside.org.
