YUCAIPA – (INT) – Motorists will soon be getting more miles-per-charge (MPC) on the I-10 across the Inland Empire.

Caltrans is installing Zero Emissions Vehicle (ZEV) charging stations near Yucaipa, Banning and Blythe.

The 4-point-9 million dollar project begins in July at the Whitewater, Wiley’s Well and the Wildwood rest areas.

Portions of existing parking lots will be utilized.
