INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Finishing touches are being put on plans to commemorate Memorial Day across the Inland Empire.

Thousands of flags are flying at gravesites at the Riverside National Cemetery. A Memorial Day program is scheduled to start at 9:30am.

West Coast Thunder will make its Memorial Day Motorcycle Ride from Riverside to Diamond Stadium at Lake Elsinore. It’s the first in three years because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Corona’s Memorial Mile March was held Saturday.

A Memorial Day Service is planned Monday at 10 am at the Elsinore Valley Cemetery.

Other observances are planned Monday at Norco, Wildomar, Menifee and at the Murrieta Veterans Memorial at Towne Square Park.

In San Bernardino County, a Memorial Day commemoration begins at 10:45am at Hillside Memorial Park in Redlands. Red poppies will be handed out at Upland’s Memorial Monument.

Other Memorial Day events are planned Monday in front of San Bernardino City Hall, at Bellevue Memorial Park in Ontario and in Montclair and Grand Terrace.
