Inland job growth slows, unemployment edges upward
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Joblessness across Riverside and San Bernardino counties has risen to its highest point since early 2022.

The State Employment Development Department put the August rate at 5-point-3 percent. That was a 4-tenths-of-a-percent increase over July.

Job growth over the past 12-months slowed to 1-point-1 percent. Inland Employers added 17-thousand-900 jobs.
