FONTANA – (INT) - Fontana ranks among the Top 10 cities in the U.S. for personal income growth, according to a new report by Smart Asset.

Census Bureau Data found that median household income in Fontana grew from 80-thousand-800 dollars in 2019 to nearly 94-thousand in 2021. That is a 16-percent increase or more than five-times the rate of median household income growth across the country.

Only eight other cities showed stronger income growth than Fontana.

Fontana is home to the largest labor force in San Bernardino County, according to data collected by the California Employment Development Department.

Fontana is projected to add another 75,000 people between now and 2045, the Southern California Association of Governments said.
