Multiple factors impacting national and local economy
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – The latest measure of the Inland Empire’s economic performance may suggest an impending downturn.

The Purchasing Managers’ Index registered a decrease last month. It was the first month with a drop below the 50% baseline after five consecutive months in growth mode, the Institute of Applied Research at Cal State San Bernardino reported.

It added that the global economic environment is not thriving.

Director Dr. Barbara Sirotnik said “The wars in Ukraine and Israel, continuing inflation, and congressional gridlock have severely impacted the global, national, statewide, and local economy.”
