Inland Empire population growth projected at Number 1
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – New projections could put the Inland Empire on a path for sustained growth through 2050.

The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) projects employment growth of 36 percent over a 31-year period. That is three-times the Southern California average and 49 percent of all Southern California jobs.

The outlook was included in SCAG’s newly released draft entitled Connect SoCal 2024 Regional Transportation Plan. It also noted that Riverside and San Bernardino counties were was the first region in Southern California to regain all jobs lost during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
