Burros slain along Interstate 15, reward offered
BAKER – (INT) – The Bureau of Land Management is expanding an investigation into the shooting deaths of 19 wild burros along Interstate 15 in the San Bernardino County desert.

A 10-thousand dollar reward is being offered for information about the incident in August 2019.

Video surveillance linked two Toyota extended cab pick-ups that were last seen traveling together at Primm, Nevada as the suspect vehicles. They had stopped in the parking lot of Whiskey Pete’s Hotel and Casino.

The burros were slain along the I-15 between Baker and Primm.
