INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Healthcare has emerged as one of the Inland Empire’s fastest-growing employment sectors.

As part of the San Bernardino Target Sector Intelligence Report, the research firm Lightcast found that practically every sub-sector within the healthcare industry will continue to experience high demand for trained and experienced workers over the next several years.

Kaiser Permanente has more than 11-hundred physicians and 9-thousand employees in San Bernardino County. Loma Linda University employs more than 17,000. Arrowhead Regional Medical Center has more than 4,000 workers.

The report notes community colleges, universities and healthcare institutions are offering new and innovative career training opportunities.
