43-acre site transformed into battery storage facility
MENIFEE – (INT) – California’s largest battery storage facility is being showcased in Menifee.

It’s situated on a 43-acre parcel on Antelope Road which was once the site of a former power plant.

Officials of Nova Power Bank say the future storage site will have the capacity to power approximately 680-thousand homes for up to four hours. The plant “will add a significant resource to the California power grid and will help support grid reliability and the transition to clean energy," according to Calpine’s Nova Power Bank.
