The tax season is in full swing. Californians are awaiting their income tax refunds for 2023.

Analysts at Lending Tree determined that the average refund in California will be 4-thousand-671 dollars. That’s about 400-dollars less than the nationwide average.

Forty-percent of taxpayers are relying on a refund and many say it will pay off debt. Forty-three percent will put their refunds into savings. Another 15 percent will spend it on purchasing a home or a vehicle. (INT)
