Primary election certified, voter interest faded
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Most Inland Empire voters thumbed their noses at the March 5th Primary Election failing to take enough interest to cast a ballot.

Barely 30 percent of Riverside County’s registered voters cast ballots and just over 26 percent in San Bernardino County.

Certified results of the election just posted showed that about 711-thousand ballots were cast across the Inland Empire. About 2-and-a-half million ballots were issued to registered voters.

Far fewer voters are visiting polling places on election day opting, instead, to return their ballots by mail.
