Suspect(s) in animal cruelty case sought SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – A 3-month-old puppy has survived severe burns inflicted in an act of animal cruelty.
The San Bernardino Animal Services Department is caring for two labrador retriever mix puppies that were abandoned outside a veterinary office on Highland Avenue. One was suffering severe burns and required immediate hospitalization. It has been named ‘Ember’. Authorities theorize that based upon how and where the puppies were found, it is believed this may have been an intentional act of animal cruelty. Story Date: April 23, 2024
