A Lake Elsinore man has drawn a 20-year federal prison sentence for selling a fatal dose of fentanyl to a man identified in court documents only as “C.A.”. Sergio Maya, 33, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute the potent opioid. The incident occurred near the victim’s Lake Elsinore apartment in 2022. Maya was sentenced in federal court Tuesday (May 7th).
