Most expensive gasoline no longer in California SOUTHLAND – (INT) – California is no longer the state with most pricey gasoline. Motorists in Hawaii are paying the most with Californians right behind at $4.64 for a gallon of 87 octane regular.
California refineries have increased production of gasoline over the past week and inventories have also increased, according to Oil Price Information Service. In Riverside, the average per-gallon price is $4.55, which is eight cents lower than the previous week and 29 cents lower than a year ago. Story Date: August 1, 2024
