Calfornia report card on school quality and safety SACRAMENTO – (INT) – A new score card on California’s public schools is out and it runs the gamut.
California is first among the states for the Existence of Digital Learning Plan but near the bottom in the student-teacher ratio. While California school systems ranked fourth highest in Median ACT Scores, they fell to mid-range in math and reading test scores. WalletHub also found California schools were second-highest in the percentage of threatened or injured high school students. Massachusetts is the state with the best school systems, boasting some of the best test scores in the country. WalletHub compared the 50 states across 32 key measures of quality and safety.
