Major flood control projects funded
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) - San Bernardino County has been awarded $99 million to partially fund four significant flood control feasibility projects in a new federal water bill.

The House of Representatives has passed a bill on a bipartisan vote.

The projects:
-$24 million to help complete the Magnolia Storm Drain Project in Chino and Ontario to alleviate local flooding

-$20 million to complete a comprehensive storm drain project in Bloomington

-$35 million for a water system rehabilitation project in Cedar Glen.

Two feasibility studies will be started– one for the Rialto Channel and another for the Del Rosa Channel in City of San Bernardino.
