Major flood control projects funded INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) - San Bernardino County has been awarded $99 million to partially fund four significant flood control feasibility projects in a new federal water bill.
The House of Representatives has passed a bill on a bipartisan vote. The projects: -$24 million to help complete the Magnolia Storm Drain Project in Chino and Ontario to alleviate local flooding -$20 million to complete a comprehensive storm drain project in Bloomington -$35 million for a water system rehabilitation project in Cedar Glen. Two feasibility studies will be started– one for the Rialto Channel and another for the Del Rosa Channel in City of San Bernardino. Story Date: August 1, 2024
